Rockin' I'm on a boat
This goes out to Michaela and Maggie...
Cooper has become a great counter. Last week he was counting 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 18 but now he has almost all the numbers through 12. And he's starrting to count in Spanish too! (Sorry for the sideways video!)
Well, we didn't really get any good photos, but we had a great time trick or treating. We went trick or treating in Ben's neighborhood and even Mommy and Miss Ali and Miss Abby dressed up (I don't know what they were but they looked pretty!). Cooper is now a candy addict and he even woke up this morning asking for more! I can't wait until next Halloween and I've already started thinking about my costume.
It's hard to believe that Ben and Sylvia and I have been getting together for 5 years now to show off our Halloween costumes and pick out some pumpkins. This year, the trip to the pumpkin patch got a little snowed/cold out but we still had fun posing for pics and carving pumpkins. Sylvia's Daddy has a nice camera so hopefully Mom will have some other good shots to send you too. And really, would you just check out my brother's hair?! It's not that far off from his normal bead head but it makes him a great rock star. And what you can't see in these photos are the embellishments on his jeans and his converse shoes. Think the Clash needs a new rocker??
On Sunday, we climbed to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain (approx. 8900 feet). It was a beautiful day and at the top, people have made chairs out of rocks! We sat there, eating our snacks, and checking out the views of the snow-capped peaks.
We go from fishing one week to playing in the snow the next week, back to riding our bike in 75 degree weather. No matter what, we love to get outside!
Last weekend, we went fishing with my new "Spiderman" fishing pole that a friend lent to us. Now, Cooper and I both have our own poles, and we could enjoy a beautiful fall day. We rode bikes, fished (but didn't catch anything) and went to Mustards Last Stand for a hot dog. What a great day!
